That’s wild!
Beyond wild really! Surreal.
Crazy!
I know right! Unbelievable.
Snow in the desert, how cool!!
I haven’t seen snow like this in years! Since I was a little kid actually.
did the girls love it, or what!?
At first V was really scared. She wasn’t sure what was happening because the rain turned white. We had blizzard conditions for a about 20 minutes and it was so be wildering to them. But once the snow started falling slowly they got excited and put on their snow boots and jacket and headed outside. Note: we have snow boots because we take a winter trip to the White Mountains every year to see snow!
Sounds like a fun time! Glad they got a little taste of winter.
So cool! How much did you get?!
Our moment this week comes from Emma’s fifth birthday celebration:

Have a great weekend!
We got about an inch. It melted very quickly.
I saw on the news y’all got hit with a lot….did your girls have a ball?
They did once they got over the shock of white stuff falling from the sky!!
yay! you have snow!!!!!
I know right! Right in our own backyard. Too crazy.
Wow, amazing picture! I’ve never seen anything like it.
Thanks!
this is a stunning photo. well done you!
Thank you! I tired my best to capture this amazing event.

Snow at this elevation is very very unusual. You are right in assuming the desert doesn’t get snow. There was a crazy cold front that came from the Pacific.
Oh! Looks Narnia-ish.
I had never thought about the desert that way but why not when it’s covered in snow!
eerie and beautiful! I love this shot.
Over here in Denmark I’m hoping for some spring weather soon though.
I imagine that anywhere that actually gets snow you’d want the snow to be over!
