DSC00335DSC00341Yesterday morning while eating breakfast S looked up over her bowl of kasha and said, “Mama, can we go to the park? The big kids park with the swing?” I thought it will be cold, I need to do this and that and the other thing and then I replied, “Sure why not!?” It felt so good to be out even if it was really windy and a storm was rolling in.

Once I even sat on the swing. I had forgotten what a joy it is to swing. For two minutes I felt eight years old again. The girls both laughed with glee at seeing their mama on swing. Once their little noses and fingers were to cold to bear, we headed for home and just in time as the rain began to fall not 30 minutes after we got home. It rained the entire afternoon making it a homemade popcorn snack kind of afternoon.

  1. Looks like a fun morning. And the swing, so much fun. Sometimes I sneak outside to our backyard to have a little me time on the swing, it feels so good! Great photos of your girls.

It was fun. We haven’t had such a fun morning in a long time. It’s hard to get out an about a lot when you have only one car in the family. We are always arranging and scheduling. It’s hard to go out on a whim. Thanks about the photos. I brought my new camera with me too the park. How is your new camera going for you?

I love the swing! It makes Sweet Husband dizzy, so K and I always make him push us. Sometimes that outside time makes the rest of the day that much better.

It made me a little dizzy too but I got over it! I wish they had swings for adults so you wouldn’t feel like you were going to bring the whole thing down. I want to swing so high!

Looks like fun, we should do this when I’m not at work sometime :)

I always try to swing at the park, even with L on my belly in the carrier :) We need a trip to the park. I miss being able to walk to our old park.

I wish we had a neighborhood park. It would be so much easier to make trips to the park. Right now we have to schedule a trip drop D off at work then drive 20 minutes! At least you have a backyard forest!! :) You should get a swing set and you’ll be set.
