****The winner of the giveaway is number 6. emi love “I shrank a gorgeous hand knit sock that took me two months to knit, down to a felted one that will not fit anyone. My husband also has a massive stash of pink socks and shirts (b/c of me).” Congratulations!

I am so happy to be partnering up again this year with the first sponsor this ever had, Laundry Tree. Laundry Tree is a wonderful mama run company owned and operated by Lisa Albrecht. She sells one amazing and very eco- friendly product, soapnuts. You can read more about them in my review from last year, but in short they are nature’s soap. You put 3-4 nuts in a cloth bag put them in your washer with hot or warm wash and let it go. You laundry comes out smell fresh and clean. I use them for all our laundry including our cloth diapers.

Lisa has offered to giveaway one starter kit to one of you wonderful readers! A starter kit includes :

“The LaundryTree Soapnut Starter Kit contains enough soapnuts and frangrance to wash nearly 40 loads of laundry with SoapNuts:

-one 100 gram bag of SoapNuts

-one 1 ounce bottle of the scent of your choice

-one washbag

-one sample bag to share with a friend!”

***To enter the giveaway simply leave a comment below telling me your worst laundry mess up (I dyed my husband’s white underwear pink once. ALL OF THEM). I will draw a winner on Friday at 8 pm via random number generator. I will announce it shortly there after on this post.

**Incase you are or are not the winner, Lisa has also given me a coupon code to share with you! Use “oliveandowl” for 25% off until Feb 12th. It’s such a great deal and they will last you through so many washes!

didn’t rinse out bedding after the a kid had thrown-up on it – a lot. thought the chunks would just magically disappear in the washing machine. . . . they don’t. would love to try these!

I threw in a pair of pants with my husbands work clothes. Said pants had a tube of burts chapstick in it. All of his clothes were greased stained.

Oh fun! I’ve been wanting to try soapnuts… When I was in middle school I put my brand new Guess? jeans (remember how popular those were back in the day?!) in the wash with a ball point pen still in the pocket. MESS! My mom still won’t let me forget it…

Hubby is a mechanic and his laundry is always full if gunk. And I always check pockets and such first. Well. He asked me to throw in one more thing one night. Didn’t look at it. Didn’t smell it. Big mistake. It was covered, and I mean covered in some sort of gear oil. Smells worse than anything I’ve ever smelled. It never washed out. And it ruined the entered load. Twelve t-shirts two long sleeved shirt two pairs of pants and a jacket. Washed on many (and I won’t mentioned how many) times with various cleaners and degreasers and softeners over weeks… They never came clean and to this day stink. It’s all in a bag ready for the trash…
