  1. Beautiful! Such a contrast…your little one and the big world at her feet. Love it! Enjoy your weekend my friend.

Thank you Kim! It was such a weird place to be. No radio signal, hardly a person around. So quiet. Very close to where my dad used to live. He really lived in the boonies.

  3. Oh my goodness, everything about this is just gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us!

Our moment is a “cozy on the couch with a bowl of popcorn” moment. With the bitter cold of yesterday it was the perfect way to warm up!

    Have a great weekend!

Oh the sun and the snow together!! Fantastic!!

    • KC says:

Once while we traveling it was sunny and snowing! It’s so cold and dry out there that the snow really doesn’t get a chance to melt.

    Lovely photo.

Thanks so much for your comment about Lucy. You’re right–I need a voice recorder! Thanks for the reminder; I know we have one around here somewhere.

  12. I enjoy how this picture is full of contrasts, the little kid and the big & long road, the parched looking grass and the snow… great photo!

Thank you Simona! I didn’t even think about the dry grass. It’s so normal here to see yellow grass that I didn’t even cross my mind that it might be green.
