I am grateful:
for my mother who calls everyday to keep in touch with my kids. To show them her face and to give me advice.
for a the continual mountain of dirty dishes, which have begun to make me laugh because it’s so silly how I can’t keep up and frantically wash dishes right before I serve meals.(Update: I finished those dishes last night! We had cheese and pears for dinner.)
for little people syndrome (when your baby gives you a grown up face that makes your heart melt).
for waking up at 7 am for the first time in three years. And for being sandwiched between two little people whose arms flung all over my body kept me warm.
for long distance friendships both old and new.
Linking up with SouleMama for {this moment}, even though I have some words this week.

Beautiful post!
Happy weekend
Thank you! Happy weekend to you too!
Love the things you’re grateful for. Have a great weekend!
Thanks very much! Have a splendid weekend as well!
Thanks for sharing, it is a lovely list.
Thanks Kim!
So much to be thankful for in our simple daily lives isn’t there? Thanks for sharing yours.
It’s the simple things that make me feel most connected.
I haven’t learned to be grateful for my dirty dishes. But I have learned to laugh about them!
I do laugh a lot! Thanks for stopping by!
