- me scrambling to
makefinish the quilt I started two months ago for S’s new bed - a visit from a old friend and two bottle of wine
- my favorite Moroccan tagine dish (see the twitter feed)
- early morning walks have started again due to cooler mornings
- 8 quarts of apple sauce were made, one jar broke
- made apple cake for breakfast
- a tornado of house cleaning, which resulted in a lovely clean house only to be undone in a day
- feeling the rhythm on and off, something we haven’t done in a long time

I didn’t realize that I do so much baking till you mentioned it! I like to experiment with making whole grain baked goods with natural sugars. I’ll have the recipe up for the apple cake next week. I don’t know why I attempt to bake with two kids though….:)
baking is such a part of motherhood for me. hoping it is something that provides good eats and good memories for my littles

I hope my girls remember me as a bread baker. At 3 and 1 they are already partial to my bread over bread bought even at a bakery.
